Mission

The mission of the San Andreas Law Enforcement Agency is to protect life, preserve public safety, uphold the law with integrity, and serve every community with professionalism, fairness, and accountability. SALEA is committed to proactive policing, strong community partnerships, and disciplined service while preserving the rights, dignity, and trust of the people of San Andreas.

Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Meet all community membership and department eligibility requirements.
  • Maintain a working microphone with clear, understandable audio.
  • Create and maintain a believable character appropriate for law enforcement service.
  • Demonstrate maturity, professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment.
  • Communicate effectively with civilians, Dispatch, Fire & EMS, and fellow department members.
  • Follow all community rules, department policies, procedures, and chain-of-command expectations.
  • Be willing to learn criminal law, traffic law, radio procedures, report writing, and department operations.
  • Exercise patience, restraint, professionalism, and appropriate discretion during enforcement encounters.
  • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard restricted department information.
  • Maintain appropriate separation between in-character and out-of-character knowledge.
  • Successfully complete the required application, interview, academy, and field-training process.
  • Accept instruction, coaching, and constructive feedback from training and supervisory personnel.
  • Maintain reasonable activity and communicate extended periods of absence.

Previous law enforcement or FiveM roleplay experience is helpful but not required. SALEA provides department training to applicants who demonstrate maturity, good judgment, a willingness to learn, and the ability to meet department standards.

    SALEA Director
    Leads the agency and oversees department policy, standards, staffing, discipline, and long-term development.
  2. 2
    SALEA Deputy Director
    Assists the Director with agency administration and assumes executive authority when the Director is unavailable.
  3. 3
    SALEA Assistant Director
    Supports executive operations, coordinates command staff, and oversees assigned administrative or operational functions.
  4. 4
    Captain
    Serves as senior command staff and oversees major divisions, department operations, personnel standards, and supervisory performance.
  5. 5
    Lieutenant
    Manages shift or division operations, supervises Sergeants, coordinates major incidents, and ensures department standards are followed.
  6. 6
    Sergeant
    Provides first-line supervision, supports patrol personnel, reviews performance, and manages day-to-day field operations.
  7. 7
    Corporal
    Serves as a junior supervisor and experienced field leader who assists with training, scene management, and patrol oversight.
  8. 8
    LEO III
    Serves as a senior patrol officer trusted with complex calls, mentoring junior officers, and taking lead roles during routine incidents.

    LEO II
    Performs independent patrol duties, handles calls for service, conducts investigations, and demonstrates consistent knowledge of department procedures.

    LEO I
    Performs standard patrol duties under normal supervision while continuing to build experience in enforcement, investigations, and department operations.

    Probationary LEO
    Entry-level officer completing field training and evaluation while demonstrating competency, professionalism, and readiness for independent patrol.

What to Expect

Joining the San Andreas Law Enforcement Agency is more than receiving a badge and patrol vehicle. Members are expected to contribute to believable, character-driven roleplay while representing the department professionally.

Successful applicants will progress through an application and interview process before completing initial department training and field training. Training is designed to teach department procedures, criminal and traffic law, radio operations, report writing, scene management, and practical patrol skills.

SALEA values quality of roleplay over enforcement statistics. Officers are expected to use sound judgment, communicate effectively, de-escalate when appropriate, and create enjoyable interactions for everyone involved in a scene.

Promotion is based on demonstrated competence, professionalism, activity, leadership, and continued development — not simply time in rank.

Applicants do not need previous FiveM or law-enforcement experience. We would rather train someone with the right attitude than retrain someone with poor habits.
